I'm am really disappointed because this place seems like an awesome place. The decor is chic, and the food (that I actually ordered) was delectable. However, our server was so terrible I was seriously about to not tip. It pained me so much to leave a tip that I had to ask my husband to fill out that portion of our bill. Our server was so rude and unaccomodating. When we were ordering she was in such a hurry to get our order at one point she didn't even wait for my friend to place his order she just walked away in a hurry. When she put our drinks down I went to ask her a question and mid-sentence she walked away, again in a hurry. When she brought our salads and she asked if we needed anything else. I asked my husband if he wanted to order some more oysters, to which he replied, "no." Since she walked away in a hurry again I'm assuming she didn't get that part, because she brought out more oysters. We were like, :we didn't order these." To which she replied I thought you said you wanted more oysters." I said, "no, I asked my husband if he wanted more. I didn't order more. It's fine we'll make do." This woman's demeanor is so intimidating and defensive I did not want to cause a scene. Thinking,"great we're being charged for something we didn't even order." My husband ordered the ribeye add lobster and I ordered the surf and turf. I asked to sub the filet with the ribeye since it's the same price and I ordered the king crab legs. She brings our meal out and serves me a lobster ribeye and I pass it to my husband, since that's what he ordered. And she didn't see why I did that until she handed me another plate of steak and lobster. I responded, :I didn't order this I ordered the king crab." Her retort was,"that's what you ordered! That's what I heard!" Again very defensive, no apology, no offer to fix the order, just rudeness. Again I don't like to argue and this lady was very loud, so again I said I'd just make do. I may be the only person on earth who doesn't like lobster, but it seriously has no flavor to me and tastes like wet rag. I tried choking down a few pieces, but ended up giving it to my husband. It was gross, and I was really disappointed about not getting the crab legs I'd been craving. Maybe it's all my fault for letting her get away with all the mistakes and not standing up for myself, but if she has just gotten our order right, took her time, and not been in such a hurry to shove us off maybe I wouldn't have been put in that extremely awkward position in the first place. When we get the bill I notice that my meal was charged $1 more. I thought this was strange because we got the same thing and when I asked her about the price difference, she said it was because of the way I ordered it. Since my husband ordered the ribeye add lobster and I ordered the surf and turf sub ribeye I was charged differently. So I said, "so I'm being charged an extra dollar even though we ordered the same thing?" To which she replied, "well that's how you're supposed to order it, like he did, not the way you did." Then she snatched the receipt off the table and said in a huff while ROLLING HER EYES (I kid you not this old lady should not be in service), "I'll take the dollar off!" By the time she came back with my check she must've realized at this point I was pissed, and that I would be adding a tip. She came back all smiles, "sorry about that." Maybe I'm just being pregnant, but I seriously was feeling violent. I told my husband, "I am so mad I can't even fill this out." I was not gonna leave her a tip at all, but that's not how my mother raised me, she raised me to be gracious, so I handed the check to my husband and said, "you should fill this out. I'm too upset to fill this out, and you seem to be a little more level headed about this than me." I have never in my life received such horrible service, and it's really ashame that just because of her I will never be back.

Crab Meat Stuffed Portabella Mushroom-this is a must order! It was huge and when I return I may just order this as my entree...my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Our waitress was very helpful when we asked for recommendations and the service was speedy without making us feel rushed. Their fish is great, and they offer several different preparations to choose from which I loved. I ordered the Tilapia with the citrus crust and my mom got the Salmon blackened-both very tasty. Their dessert menu looked awesome, but unfortunately we didn't have any room-just an excuse to return I guess!

I went to 94 West as it was chosen for my mom's retirement party. We had a larger group of 16. Service - Our waitress was nice, but with such a large group and her being a bit timid, I didn't get a feel for her personality. However, she was pretty fast, patient never make a mistake with our order. Food - 3 stars here. I order prime rib, medium. It came out medium well. It was good, just cooked incorrectly. Good thing I'm not a stickler for that. I may have gotten upset. My meal came with garlic mashed (pretty good), and broccoli (undercooked). I also got a salad. I asked for Caesar, but it was just a garden salad with Caesar dressing. They probably shouldn't offer Caesar unless they are going to do a real Caesar salad. It was just ordinary and sorta boring. Atmosphere - It's a traditionally decorated place. Nice decor, but not anything unique or special. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Overall, I was happy, but not wowed. 94 west is way out in the suburbs of Orland Park, and much like a suburb, it is clean, quiet, has the amenities you want, but no extraordinary flavor or uniqueness. So it fits where it is. Prices are steep, but where it is located people have money - so it might work for them. If I was in Orland Park again I would go again, but only if invited. Not on my own.

Over priced with poor service, server was very withdrawn and short in explanation of questions asked. He also took my wife's one glass a wine away when she was only half way finished. Never going back for dinner.

Celebrated my birthday here over the weekend. The food was super good. I got the filet with double bakes potatoe, tastiest steak I have had in a very long time. My family all loved their entrees. My sister got the whitefish..really good!! Mom got the chicken Alla Bryan...topped with fresh peppers. Dad got prime rib which was absolutely delicious! Highly reccomend going here, the service and food are great and perfect place to celebrate with loved ones! Everyone will be happily full after leaving here!

In the South Suburbs, this is as about as good as it gets. With all/most of the great dinner clubs (Hobknobs, Dunlaps, House of Hughes, Bogarts) of yesteryear gone, 94 West is a reminder of a time when nice atmosphere, quality service and consistently excellent food was in style. We visit this location 2-3 times a month and always have a great experience. Highly recommended.

Came here with the gf late on a Saturday night (shopped too much) and were thankfully able to be accommodated. Decor was nice as to be expected from the looks of the place outside, Service was excellent as the server let us split our entree for a small $5 charge and we were able to still get 2 sweet potatoes (I think there was supposed to be an extra charged over regular potatoes.) Also, she gave us Caesar salads instead of house salads. Anyways, more about the food... Pork chops: We didn't get the breaded ones and opted for the broiled ones with the baked apples instead. Very good. I was worried that the chops would be dry, but they came out moist and delicious. I liked how the apples were slightly tart to offset the sweetness in the sauce. The entree came with two chops so gf and I each got one. Caesar salad: I normally would just briefly talk about a Caesar salad, but I did enjoy this one quite a bit. It's not something I would go back for by itself, but it was very good. What I appreciated was the distinct anchovy flavor in the dressing. Usually, I never taste the fishy, salty taste, but I could easily taste it in this dressing. I don't think it was overpowering at all and thought it to be perfect. Seared ahi tuna: Very good. My only wish is that they didn't put so much sesame seed on the outside and they had more wasabi aioli to accompany the tuna. The seaweed salad with the tuna was fine. We also got scallops and they were decent too. Nothing to write home about. So food was good, but service was excellent which is why I think this place is at a solid 4 with the service. I love getting good service as it really does hurt or help one's opinions of a place. The server was very attentive and very accommodating. Prices aren't cheap, but I didn't think they were expensive. I'm happy with the price for what we got. Will definitely be back.

The service needs polishing. The busboy slid knives off my plate so I would keep them for my next course. This is suppose to be a higher end restaurant (prices dictated that) and the food was mostly marginal. The chicken avocado salad was fresh tasting but nothing special in the least. The ribeye looked like a strip steak that was posing as a ribeye. The lobster bisque was very good but needed a few more pieces of lobster than the sprinkle on top. You could hear dishes clanking behind a black curtain that was suppose to hide the kitchen. Will not be returning here.

It pains me to only give two stars because the food is pretty good; however, the service is just lousy. Despite my two-star review, I've been to this restaurant several times for brunch and every time, something has bothered me. I always call ahead to make reservations and I'm often asked if there are children in my party. Why does this matter? Then I figured it out. If I don't have my kids with me, we tend to have a better server and we're seated closer to the buffet. When I bring my kids, I usually ask for one of the tables near the buffet and I'm usually told they're reserved. So, we're relegated to a far corner on the other side of the restaurant. This "reserved" nonsense is obvious BS because I arrive at 10:30 when brunch starts and the place is dead. Restaurants like this don't reserve specific tables for specific parties; and it's not like I request a table for 10 when I've only got 5 people with me. I mentioned that I always make reservations. I've spoke to three different people. One was a younger sounding man who was extremely friendly and polite. One was an older woman who was, at best, "cordial." She didn't seem excited to be booking a guest (and in my case, that usually means a guaranteed $150+ because of the size of the family I bring). Then there's a younger sounding woman who has taken my reservation and she just sounds like she hates her life. I feel like I'm interrupting her nail-filing session when she answers. So, the staff. There's a hit or miss here. There are superstars and stupor-stars. The owner is amazing (he's the middle-aged gentleman behind the buffet who usually wears a chef's hat). The man will bend over backward to make guests happy. The asian/Indian/Native-American looking hostess is crabby. Every time I've been there, she acts like the guests are an annoyance. I mean, with all these people asking to be seated, how will she ever get past that level of Angry Birds? Then there's an older woman who acts as a manager of sorts. I have a feeling she's the owner's wife. She wanders around asking people how their experience is. Her reaction is very interesting depending on your party. When I've gone with older family, she seems fascinated by everything they say and really seems to take an interest in your dining experience. If it's me with other 30-somethings, she takes note, but moves on quickly. If she stops by when I'm there with my kids (who are very well-mannered in restaurants), she practically rolls her eyes as she asks "how is everything?" She seems to be extremely age-biased. I hope the owner can take some time to give his hostess and management staff a little more training. If they had his enthusiasm and genuine concern for the guests, I would easily have given this place five stars. Next, the servers. Again, hit or miss. I've had excellent service and I've had terrible service. The last time i went, we saw our server once. She took our drink order and never came back. 45 minutes later, a shorter heavyset server came over and began serving us. He probably came by because we had 8-10 used plates piled on the window sill (because no one was clearing them away - although the bus boys were staring at them every time they passed by). In any case, I forget that server's name, but he ended up doing a spectacular job! It was just pretty lousy that we had to wait that long. So, how's the food? It's actually pretty good. We went during the "Oktoberfest Brunch" and that was the only time I was really disappointed. When they have their traditional brunch, it's usually very good. You can tell that some of the food is a lower grade "institutional" quality, but this is also 94 West, not Chez Henri. The price is reasonable and I can't say that I've ever left unhappy about the food (except that Oktoberfest baloney... I want my money back from that debacle). In the end, it's not spectacular, but it's not terrible. Good food, blah management, hit or miss servers, awesome owner... If the owner could get his front-of-house in gear, I'd easily add 2 (possibly 3) more stars to this review.

Went to this restaurant on some tip it was great. Get there and get seated, waitress seems fine at first. Building is cold, we order. The bread was warm and fresh, the salad came out of a bag with bottled dressing. The waitress starts to faulter as my water glass remains empty. We ordered steaks, I the strip which I prefer med well. After a long wait we get our food. My steak is rare and the only thing holding it together is the fat, my garlic potatoes which are as bland as a white wall are cold. My partners are also cold. I eat no more than 3 bites two of which I spit out because I couldn't chew the fat. The disappearing waitress shows no concern to make this right or attempt to get me something to eat, which is the reason we came here. Instead she boxes up this slop and brings me the check for full fare sets it on the table doesn't apologize or say thank you and walks away. Stay clear of this place, I stopped at Wendys on the way home, should have stopped there first.

So I came here for a retirement luncheon. This place is in the middle of nowhere so I was really expecting it to be great, I mean why would people drive out here for something less than? The person who organized the luncheon said it was her favorite place.....now I know never to ask her about food ever again. The first flag should have gone up when I saw a disclaimer about the steaks which read "not responsible for steaks ordered well done". Eh, can you not cook a steak well without already preparing yourself to tell me it's my fault for ordering it that way? Next flag, salad. They don't have a traditional caesar salad, just a house salad with caesar dressing or another dressing. A salad in a bag would have put this salad to shame in quality and taste, and as for size it was served on a saucer designed to hold a tea cup. Someone ordered the soup of the day, and I could tell it was bland and too thin for a chowder from across the table. I saw in someone's review there was complimentary bread, well it didn't make it to my table. I saw none. So the entree. I ordered prime rib, medium. Medium ended up being medium well almost well, which made me thing that medium well must have been super well and well must have been burnt which would explain the disclaimer. The waitress was super friendly and attentive but that was all I could rate highly about this place. And with their prices but cooking ability, I am glad I didn't trust them to make me a $44 porterhouse or $36 filet mignon.

Wrote a review about how bad the service was years ago, but returned recently because family members wanted to go and celebrate a birthday. We had a relatively large group and It was just as horrible!!! Food is bland and several of our dishes arrived COLD. Service, though pleasant, was SLOW to say the least. Our party was seated at 5 and received our entrees at 7. Unbelievable!

This place was incredible. The sea bass and the bone in ribeye were just unbelieavable. We'll return when we come back to the Chicago area.

My family and I went for Easter brunch this past Sunday. I don't know which was worse, the food or the service. There was one buffet that had to accommodate 3 rooms. The lines were long. We had to wait for more plates to come out. The food was then either gone or very cold at that point. I was served only one beverage the whole time we were there. Then the female manager started yelling at the server right there in front of everyone. That was very unprofessional and just classless. The food was so bad that my whole family went out to another restaurant after we left there. I paid almost 200.00 for my family's portion and still had to go to eat afterwards. If that isn't enough to make you mad, I don't know what is. We will definitely NOT be going back.

This place has the best sea bass and the bone in filet...was incredible! We had a lovely dinner and the service was impeccable. I am finicky about my fish and meat but this place made it just right. I will definitely return!

Husband and I went here for our anniversary. Our server, Nick, was fabulous! He had a great personality and was very attentive. The food was amazing. Steaks were cooked perfectly and dessert.....Oh my!!! You must try the creme brulee! The restaurant itself is beautiful. The whole staff was very friendly! They have a way of making you feel like you are the most important person there. I will be returning and recommending this restaurant to all of my friends and family!!!

This review is based on only one experience, and not from the restaurant proper, but from a catered event in a banquet room. That said, the food was fabulous. We had a choice of about six different entrees, which was great (usually at these company-sponsored con ed events, you may get two choices...but six? Amazing). The filet mignon was PERFECT. I always order rare (as in, still with a barely detectable pulse), and I often get medium, but this was cooked to order. The other courses were all delicious, especially the cheesecake dessert. Since this was in a banquet room, the ambience wasn't over-the-top, but that's okay. I"m sure I'll be back to eat in the actual restaurant.

Actually I wanted to dine at the Char-house next door which was closed, so my son and I ended up here. I frequent restaurants downtown but this place looked cool and upscale. Sadly the service was hardly upscale. We sat outside on the patio where the lighting was horrible (unbalanced). The food was mediocre at best. The martini was awesome tho.

Had my birthday/ graduation party here. Very nice staff and great ambience but food was so so. My filet mignon was too tough. I expected more from a steakhouse.

Ventured to suburbia to dine with mi familia. I was pleasantly surprised with the the Sunday Champagne Brunch they offer. Food was pretty decent --- breakfast fare (sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, french toast), as well as ribs, roast, mashed potatoes, breaded pork chops, shrimp cocktail, salad, fruit, and a variety of desserts. Service was fantastic. Our server, Jeff, made 12 people very happy. It's tough to impress my dad - and this guy did. Pops threw in extra cash just to show his appreciation. Overall, it was better experience than when I last reviewed this place.

Service was great but the food was way typical. I had the Chicken Vesuvio which was in dire need of seasoning. My other 2 guest ordered steak-so Longhorn Steakhouse-ish. Nothing special going on here at all:(

Not sure why the reviews aren't higher! Unless I went on a good day, and a good day it was! The brunch buffet on Sunday was worth it. I am shocked this wasn't in my monthly restaurant rotation! Won't make that mistake again,, I will be back! A lot! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the free glass of champagne or mimosa with brunch! SCORE!

I had the salmon orleans style i think, the topping was good had like two or three shrimp on top however the salmon was slightly overcooked which made it kinda dry. that green pasta stuff was good after I got over how it looked. i did enjoy my pomegranate martini

Just had a delightful Thanksgiving brunch at 94 West - the best yet. The food was top notch from beginning to end. The turkey and trimmings were better than home cooked! Impeccable and friendly service made the experience superior to dining downtown.

We went there for Easter Brunch. Our waiter was excellent & the food was great as well! Will make a return visit on a regular business night to see how food & service compare to a holiday!

Overpriced and bland. My family of four and two additional guests attended based on a previous experience. The appetizer of oysters was enjoyed by the guests. The soup and salad were okay. The steaks, which are pricey, were poorly seasoned and tasted pretty awful. I did not eat my steak and the server did not even notice. The garlic mashed potatoes tasted really bland also. I suppose if you do not like flavoring and way over paying for a steak this is your place to go. Also they were out of milk and select desserts. One of the desserts that was ordered was never brought and when we were almost done with desserts the waitress said that oops we are out is there something else you want. I would never go back.

The place was packed on a Friday night, and I felt that I was about to dive into something great! First of all, the decor is very nice, and the service is upscale. Everything really did feel like you were in a great place. Unfortunately, the food was subpar and quite over-priced. My steak was over cooked and so was the rest of my party's, so that was disappointing. The side dishes were pretty blah, and just average at best. I am a bit disappointed with the value of the place, but it was upscale and nice.

I have been dining here since this place opened so I will make this review short and sweet. Yes 94West has had issues with service and it gets over booked on those special occasion days (Valentines Day, Mothers Day, etc. ...) Decided to go on a Sat. night, place was full but not over booked. I showed up without a reservation, the hostess seated us immediately, owner came over to welcome us and the server (Janese) was spot on and very helpful. Food cooked perfectly, quality was excellent. Prices seemed to be lower than last time I was here. All entrees include soup or salad and potato. A la carte days are over. Owner bought us a round of drinks after dinner. (BONUS!) Looks like 94West has matured into the fine dining establishment it always wanted to be. I highly recommend giving it a try just for a nice dinner for you and that special person rather than coming here for those over crowded holiday dinners.

I had dinner there last night with my family. I loved the place. Not only is the food great, but the restaurant is a classy, sharp looking architecture. It has several large and well decorated dining rooms. The kitchen and wait staff dress the part to the Tee. They're friendly and attentive, but they don't harass you during dinner. I eat here regularly because the food never disappoints. My son loves the bone in rib-eye steak. My wife loves the fish, Salmon, and I love and always order the Prime Rib. This is a steak house. I've only been to the Sunday brunch a few times and it is very popular. The assortment of food items is large. It's a great buffet. And I took my son to see one of the shows -- 94 West offers dinner shows regularly. Our favorite was the man who impersonated Tom Jones (I'd hate to butcher his name with bad memory!) The pricing is typical of the restaurants I've been to (please check out my reviews -- I don't post on restaurants where the food or service was bad). Overall, the food was great. The dining room was classy. The service was very good.

Go for the fish, stay for the drinks. I swear this was my final stop on my bday week of going out to eat and celebrating, and this was with my family. We arrived for a late lunch and when we walked in we realized there were two parties renting out the entire restaurant minus the bar. We didn't want to leave so we sat at a high top in the bar and I think they did a nice job of accommodating us considering they had so much going on. We started out with the shrimp cocktail and it was great, the shrimps were bigger than I was expecting and the sauce was flavorful. For my entree I had the swordfish Citrus Crusted with a Light White Wine Sauce & Sauteed Zucchini Ribbons and rice pilaf. Now we were still ordering off the lunch menu but the size of the fish was HUGE. It was double what I was expecting to be served and it was cooked perfectly. I also really loved how thin the zucchini was cut and the sauce went great with the rice pilaf. We had a bottle of wine with lunch and rather than dessert, we all had one final cocktail. They were your traditional martini drinks but they were made really strong. I don't know if twas just the heavy hand of our server (who had to pull double duty on our table) or what but they really packed a punch. I can't wait to go back when there aren't two parties and we can properly sit in the dining room.

First thing first...I love the service here! Very friendly and attendit to my needs. The ribeye is so delicious! It's so juicy and the portion is great! I either get asparagus or mash potatoes and both great side choices. Other times I get the salmon and let me tell you...it tastes so fresh! Just writing this review makes me want to go there right now! (and it's 1am)

Came here for Sunday brunch and wasn't impressed with the selection. I did enjoy the all you can eat crab legs! They also have mimosas and champagne, two glass max and the glasses are so tiny! I had 3 sips of champagne and was done with my first glass...what a waste! I have had better Sunday brunch with bottomless mimosas or champagne. Don't waste your appetite or money on 94 West Sunday Brunch.

This place is the best steakhouse in the the SW burbs. Steaks are always great and cooked as ordered. The prices are reasonable for a steak house considering they don't whack you extra for salads and side dishes like most other high end places do. Servers are always professional and the atmosphere is Very nice! The only knock is occasionally getting switched on the top shelf liquor ordered.

Having moved to Orland within the past year, been here twice. I have to say, its probably the best place I have gone to since locating here. Great steaks, well, that is what its known for. Good desserts and good ambiance. I can say I don't have to go to the city for a good steak. And they have entertainment on the patio in the summers. I want to check out the Sunday Brunch, I hear its fantastic, so yet to review that.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! ATTENTION! ATTENTION! WAIT STAFF NOT ALL BLACK PEOPLE EAT THEIR STEAKS WELL DONE!!! We made reservations for New Years Eve. After reading the reviews I asked my husband if we could skip this place as the reviews were mixed. He wanted to try it, so we did. BIG MISTAKE! We were seated immediately. I ordered a Pomegranate Martini. I tasted like that green rubbing alcohol smells. I was able to get the attention of the waitress to let her know that it was bad. She said "I wanted to tell you it was bad, but, I didn't know if you would like it." I opted not to have a drink. So on to the entrees. I ordered the rib-eye (medium) and my husband ordered the fillet Mignon (medium). When the food was finally served, I knew there was going to be a problem. Both steaks were well done. When I was able to get the waitresses attention, I told her the steaks were overcooked. She said, oh, you wanted them medium well, right?. I said, no, we said medium. She said she would get her manager. The manager came over and made the situation even worse. She was condescending and acting as if we had never been to a restaurant, let alone a steak restaurant. She told us that in the future when we visit their establishement, we should order our steaks under cooked as they are served on really hot plates and continue to cook. Are you kidding me!!! Not a problem, because, we will not be back.

This is a review of the Sunday Brunch, which for $25 is a great deal including an unlimited amount of Champagne and/or Mimosas. The selection was varied and well prepared (although I was not a fan of the pan of scrambled eggs...I'm finicky about eggs) but they had an omelette station that looked good, a carving station slicing medium rare prime rib, crab claws, country sausage, bacon and a bevy of covered dishes that my brunch companions raved about. Situated on 94th Ave in Orland Park it has easy access, decent table service for beverages and a pleasant dining room. I looked at the dinner menu which looked even better than the brunch and definitely will return to check them out. This brunch did not disappoint!

For the prices, the food was extremely disappointing. How do you mess up a Caesar salad? Or chicken? Waiter was not very friendly and despite being nearly empty our food took forever. Will not be eating here again.

Just went here for hubby's birthday. Wanted to take the family some place very nice, let's just say I'm 158 poorer and embarrassed for suggesting this place. Service extremely slow. 2 kids 2 adults only. We watched other tables come and go as we waited and waited. For an expensive place one would think dirty dishes would be picked up promptly, not so here at 94 west . You would think the Feature dessert a lava cake you have to wait 30 minutes for would be perfect. Not so! Actually burnt on bottom and no lava. Terrible! The salad that come with meal?? Straight out of a bag, I'm sure of it. Stuffed portobello mushroom?Heavily seasoned. Calamari? Seriously had better at tgi Fridays. First bite guess I got a shell. Wtf? Tirimasu? Frozen in middle! No drinks offered Or refilled. Coffee forgotten about. And that nuclear green Pasta salad? PASS! I cannot believe this place is still open!

Their lobster bisque here is very, very good, reeks of sherry and is topped with a decent lump of sweet, sweet lobster meat. I would definitely order it again and I might stop in only for another bowl or two before this cruel winter bitch is over. I had a lovely lunch of the soup with a steak Caesar salad that was pretty tasty, but not the quality of steak or skill of ..steakery...that I would expect from a steakhouse with these kinds of elevated prices. But again, it was tasty. They also have a wonderful, huge baked sweet potato that I got for my baby. Service was great. I ate during the daytime for an early lunch and found them very accommodating to children - probably not as recommended for peak times, but, you know, do what you gotta do. I haven't had dinner here, but if you are looking for a fancy type dinner in the area (Orland and under the shadow of a Dick's Sporting Goods) then I would recommend it. Like the upper levels of a three star.

Well you don't just go to 94 West on a whim because it is not the cheapest restaurant on the block. I will say however that the service and food are top quality. I have also seen them on restaurant.com so that helps a bunch. I am a big fan of the rib-eye and as of today 94 West has my favorite rib-eye in the south burbs. Although they have live music in the bar it is not so loud that you can hear it throughout the entire restaurant( take note fish restaurant). Overall I have had several very good experiences at 94 West and look forward to many more.

I was just here over the weekend to celebrate a friend's engagement. There were 11 of us and we had reservations. My date & I were among the first couples to arrive so we sat at the bar, ordered some drinks & chatted up our friends. The bar is nice, the decor is lovely & the wait was very brief once everyone arrived. Our server was friendly, the ambiance was quiet but social and we all sat comfortably and were able to interact without much noise around us, the place wasn't packed but not crowded. Less people than expected for a Sat. night. The restrooms were very nice, clean, suitably decorated with private stalls. The reason I didn't like it? The food was average - the bread was subpar, the salad mediocre & having never eaten here before, I scanned the menu undecided and opted for the Chicken alla Bryan which was described on the menu as 1/4 chicken with red and green bell peppers, pepperonicini and olive oil. Sounded delish. But it's actually covered in marinara sauce and no pepperoncini, at least none you could taste. I assume it was cooked in olive oil because it definitely wasn't part of the sauce. I'm not a fan of red sauce but couldn't understand why that wasn't included in the description. It didn't taste that great, average at best and oddly, no sides were served with it although the menu stated a potato option was included with every entree. I was disappointed but enjoyed the event and the company though, I won't be returning unless someone has another event there. Most of us opted to take leftovers with us and the server said they didn't carry any bags. Yet as we stood by the door prior to leaving, one of the waiters asked if we'd like bags & returned with several. Poor service.

Awesome restaurant! Service was great and very friendly. As good as any downtown steakhouse. The atmosphere was beautiful. The owner came to our table to ask how everything was. Definitely worth the money. I would go back again for sure.

Not a steak house I would recommended. Order a ribeye and was way under cooked. The manager even tried to sell me that it was cooked properly. If it isnt how I ordered it, then try to fix it, don't try to tell me it is fine.

I ordered the "22 oz. Prime Rib Johnny's Cut | $38.00 - Served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes." It was really good. I was disappointed with the size of the soup bowl that I got with my meal. The soup itself (Beef Barley) was very good, but it was the size of a small cup. Are you kidding me, can you afford it 94 West?. The server, Ryan, was very slow with the drinks. When, I stopped eating for a bit to talk, the server, Ryan, thought I was finished when I was not finished and placed another empty plate on top of mine very quickly, without asking, and took it away, before I had time to react. I did not complain because I only had a few pieces left, but it was annoying and disrespectful, but I showed the same disrespect by reducing my tip. On a minor note, we were seated in an area where they were having a party (not happy with that at all--too loud); I blame the person who seated us for that. I reduced my tip for that as well. Only tip well when you receive all three: Good Service, Good Food, Respect We received good food, but poor service, and poor respect.

This restaurant has become my family's Christmas Eve tradition. Okay, so far it's only been two years in a row, but you know, traditions are a process. Well, 94 West is a great place for a holiday dinner. It's classy without ever feeling pretentious. The food is excellent and the service has been absolutely amazing. Special attention needs to go to our most recent server, Janice. It can't be very fun being stuck working on Christmas Eve, yet she was absolutely fantastic. She was quick, attentive, and a complete gem to my little brother who was being a bit of a brat because he just wanted to get home and open presents from my grandparents. (He's six, give him the benefit of the doubt). She was so good with him, he eventually turned around and got a lot cheerier. Service like that makes a huge difference. As for the food itself, it's all around great. Once again, my most recent meal was particularly good. I got a 16 oz ribeye with sauteed onions. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned in such a way that it enchanced the meat's flavor without overwhelming it. It also came with an excellent stuffed pepper soup that really exceeded expectations. It's not cheap at all, but for a really special occasion, 94 West is definitely one of your best options in the southern suburbs.

We just returned home from dinner at 94 West. We arrived a little early but our reserved table was ready and waiting. From the time we walked in, the service was outstanding. Our food was wonderful! Our server, Megan, was the epitome of excellence. To Brian, the owner, job well done!

Hello All, I usually do not write reviews on resturants, however I thought this warranted. We went there Friay evening, 7-12, and had an awful experience. I ordered the ribs, at 25.00, you would think you were getting a good cut of ribs. NOT. My wife ordered the Talapia, and it was mushy, and did not look appitizing at all when it arrived. My buddy ordered Chicken Ala Bryan. Wow, the look on his when it arrived told me all I neededto know. It looked as though he saw a rat in his food. He ate it, and I asked him, "How was it" he just shook his head. My buddy, is not one to complain about anything. His wife ordered ribeye, and it was tuff as leather. When the chicken came out, the waiter said, "Sorry it took so long, this chicken was frozen like a rock". Nice thing to say. The waiter was a bit awkward, he kept hoovering and looked a little upset when my buddy didn't arrive with the rest of us, as he was stuck in Orland Park traffic. He kept coming back every 5 minutes, looked at us, and said, well I guess he will be here soon. ?? When it was time for desert, and I am not kidding...I said, I will try the award winning apple pie, (It states that on the menu!) the waiter said, and I am not kidding..."I wouldn't get that" I said, it says, "Award winning" He said, "Who's award, and who gave that award out!" I said, I will skip desert. All in all, it was a big waist of $300.00. If I could give this zero stars I would. And now, the morning after, both myself and wife are not feeling well at all. First time there, and LAST. Save your money, go somewhere else.

I've been going to 94 West to watch the Blackhawk games with my wife. The remodel is gorgeous. Beautiful chairs and great view of the TV's. I've been to almost every Chicago steak house and I have to say , the filet at 94 West is incredible. The most flavorful, tender steak I've ever had. I like my steak pink in the middle. They put a crusty sear on the outside , and then it gets gradually pinker towards the center. Other steak places dry out their steak , but not here. My wife likes it a little more medium , and hers was like butter as well. Why go to Chicago. Free parking. Great appetizers. The calamari with feta , peppers and olives was awesome. Normal priced drinks. Maybe because it's not on LaGrange , but East , on 94th ave , that this restaurant doesn't get more people there. I've had my daughters wedding showers here. Many Mother's Day and Easter brunches. Always good.

Had dinner at 94 earlier last night. One of my friends who has eaten there before was ranting and raving about it, so four of us made the drive to Orland Park to try it out. We ended eating the Saturday Night Summer Buffet, the highlight was supposed to the prime rib. Other main offerings were chicken in Spanish rice, salmon, Oriental style ribs, sliced pork loins, salmon with pineapple trimmings, oysters, and decent sized crab legs. In my opinion, although the prime rib was good, I've had better, for cheaper. In fact I'd even dare to say that Outback would've been more satisfying, and cheaper too. The ribs were more for show and meant to be avoided. I don't know what sauce they used, but it didn't taste anything remotely Asian-styled. However the pork loins and chicken were pretty good and when combined with the steam veggies and sliced potato cubes, the plate more than made up for the letdown the rest of the food provided. The salmon had potential on initial taste, but I could tell it was overcooked as I continued to chew. My friends said the crab legs were good, but seemed a bit out of place in a restaurant of that presents a more formal ambience than usual. Unfortunately for 94, clad in a dark wood, semi-formal ambience, complete with vocal jazz-fusion mood music, the food did not live up to my expectations. This is a damn shame because once inside, you'd never guess this restaurant was in a suburban mall. On the brightside the service was cheery, but professional, and the waitstaff kept on top of filling our drinks, and clearing our finished plates. In the end the bill came out to be $38 a person, including tax and tip. Unfortunately I think only 1 out of the 4 of us came out of the place feeling fully satisfied. The rest of us were thinking of other places that tasted better, for cheaper. And it's a shame because the concept does have potential, but it misses the point of having dinner- the food. Pros: Great service, semi-formal ambience erases all presence of suburbia once you enter, seperate bar area, and outdoor seating for those who want it. Cons: Pricey, can get better food elsewhere. To sum it up: Bland food with classy ambience- I'll take a pass on it.

Stopped in there on a Thursday evening for a Christmas party. I got the 48 dollar bone in ribeye and it was impeccable. It was cooked perfectly medium and marbled to perfection. I had the lobster bisque soup and that too was excellent. Our service was good and the rebel IPA was fresh and cold. My only critique is that they couldn't make a Moscow Mule as they had no ginger beer. No big deal as this is an excellent restaurant.

The Sunday brunch buffet has some of the best tasting buffet food I've ever had. I've been to a lot of Las Vegas buffets & the food is just ok, you can expect half the items to be pretty bland but here most of the food had actual flavor as if it was something you ordered off the menu instead of something that was cooked to serve to big group of people. Prime rib & tilapia which I normally don't like were really good. For $25 you get pretty good all you can eat buffet with 2 complementary glasses of champagne & an option for crab legs for an extra $6.00. Nice indoor & outdoor seating, & the servers were helpful.

Terribly disappointed... We went there for a birthday and were seated in the bar area because they were renting out the rest of the restaurant for a private party. I was not told this when I made the reservation and was not happy - we do not like to eat in bar areas when paying a good amount for a meal, especially for a special birthday celebration. We ordered Filet Mignon medium and it came out too well done. I sent mine back and it was returned to me rare (bloody). The cook/chef did not seem to know how to cook steak. Cut of meat was inferior - taste very bland and they sliced it thin - for a filet? By the time they brought out my second piece the rest of my meal was cold. Husband ordered swordfish and it was the skimpiest, skinniest cut of fish - 94 West should be ashamed to charge the prices they do for such small itty bitty cuts of meat and fish. The side dishes were equally disappointing, tiny mound of mashed potatoes and a casserole of hard chunks of potato covered with a Velveeta like cheese substance that was fairly tasteless. We left less than happy. I called the next day to talk to the manager and he did not seem particularly interested - he was more interested in getting me off the phone. Lame excuses: their top chef was on that night so he didn't understand about the filet, the meat is what they 'always' order and the private party was a yearly event that he could do nothing about etc. etc. Not at all apologetic, more defensive - half heartedly offered a free drink if I came back. I declined - I was not calling for any freebies - I was calling to have the manager listen and hopefully rectify some of the restaurant's problems. This meal along with the phone call was a complete waste of my time. I do NOT recommend this restaurant at all - if I could give it zero stars I would. They are not interested in pleasing the customer, only getting as much money for inferior food at high prices. They are also not interested in any customer complaints - too bad, with that attitude they won't be getting our business again.

My husband and I dined here on a Wednesday night, I ordered the Filet Mignon and my husband had a full slab of ribs. The food was okay, ribs were very saucy, my filet had no seasoning at all. I usually do not add extra salt to my food, but I needed to salt the filet since it was so bland. For dessert we shared a chocolate cake that was so dry. Over priced food and I do not think I will be back.

The interior has potential to be a top notch establishment. However, it is a very unpolished, unprofessional atmosphere. We sat at the bar where we were exposed to a clear view of the kitchen(always rubs me the wrong way), We were told by the hostess that she would be right there at the bar to make our drinks. She happened to be deterred by a phone call leaving us to wait at the bar. Once we got our drinks and enjoyed the lovely goings on in the kitchen we were entertained by the delivery at the door, by the bar in which all the employees joined in unloading the stock. Such ambiance! Upon getting the table we were served by an over-caffeinated(chose your stimulant) server. No bread until after the mediocre salad. Followed by an entree(beef medallions) ordered without cheese that arrived with cheese. My partner's turkey looked and tasted fake. Food was not very good at all. Almost forgot about another of my pet peeves---employees eating at the bar when custormers are present. Please!!! This is such bad form. I thought everyone knew that much. Overall experience was horrendous. I felt like we were invading on the employee's turf. It was all about them and we could have been flies on the wall for all they cared. It might do well in a trailer park!

This restaurant is one we keep forgetting about, but every time we remember, we're glad we did. I think this time we'll try harder keep it on our radar. Just got back home a few minutes ago. We sat at a table in the bar area this time, because we knew we didn't want to order full meals. My husband and i each had a glass of wine (generous pours) and a salad. We also had the stuffed portobello mushroom as an appetizer. I'd skip the mushroom next time (a bit heavy on the breading, though delicious), but I will never, ever skip the carpaccio salad. This has to be the best carpaccio salad I've ever enjoyed. So good. My husband had the Waldorf and enjoyed it immensely, too. The bartender, Jackie, was great. Attentive but not overly so. The ambiance was great, and I have many compliments for the place, but that salad was the best. Fabulous. Just amazing. I order carpaccio wherever I can, but this is the best ever. Can't wait to go back.

While outside of Chicago for a work-related event, we happened to ask where a good place to eat would be - and were told that 94 West was "kinda ritzy". So we went there in hopes that it would not equate to chain food. Sat down and were offered the option of the seafood buffet (it was Friday) - which we passed on. Then a bowl of deep aquamarine-dyed fusilli pasta was brought to our table. We stared at this bizarre chef's treat and asked "what is this?" - the reply was that it was something the chef came up with as his own amuse-bouche. We could not summon the courage to even taste one piece, for fear of changing our body chemistry with so much food dye! Needless to say the meal followed suit. Steaks were ok - the mushrooms they came with were canned, the steamed broccoli ok, but the potato gratin was nothing but a pile of overcooked potatoes covered with cheddar cheese on the top - cheddar that had no taste and was clearly industrial material. It was all we could do to bolt down the $10 glass of reserve Chianti and pay the bill. Great service though!

Very disappointing place. I ordered the prime rib, which was just an awful cut of meat. Incredibly fatty and and the meat was tough. It tasted as if it had been cooked for a long time, (due to the softness of the meat) but was not at all tender. My dining companion and I both ordered two different soups and both arrived scalding hot. As in, scorch your tongue. We were also really turned off by the really gross looking neon blue-green pasta that arrived at our table that is apparently a house specialty! When I called the following Monday to express my disappointment, I was left on hold for five minutes. I called back and was told the managers were busy but would call me back. Didn't happen. I called again the following night and spoke with a manager who apologized for nothing and basically told me prime rib is sometimes fatty. (which having eaten it my whole life I understand,) this cut of meat was terrible--I've had better steaks at non-steak restaurants. Save your money and go elsewhere. Other than the ambiance which is attractive and tasteful, there is nothing appealing here.

A lot of the reviews are frustrating to read because of how snobby the reviewer comes off as. Perhaps these are normal people with normal heads. Perhaps these are normal people without conflated egos or feelings of self-importance. The fact of the matter is, that this is a fun place to come to eat good food. My waitress had great manners. Took our plates away as we finished our meals, and gave outstanding service to us.. I honestly expected less! It's nice to spend $27 on a New York strip steak and receive good service, and a vibrant atmosphere. I never once felt unwelcome, and again, I cannot possibly understate what a fine restaurant this is. I will definitely be coming back! Note: I was with a party of 4, myself included, and one of us ordered a Sangria and a glass of Jameson whiskey. They were both surprised by the amount given! Totally had no skimping on the booze. That made me really happy. And the way my friends & I woofed down our meals, we cannot say anything negative about the food either. It was well worth the money in every regard. A little bit pricey to eat at regularly, but when we eat out again, this will be our destination. Thanks a lot to the staff at 94 West. Great job.

I attended the Mother's Day brunch on yesterday and it has definitely gone down. The food was complete TRASH! The bacon wasn't fully cooked, crab legs were cold, the desert's were store bought at it's cheesiest and the service was poor. The water was the best thing served. They have definitely gone up in prices and down with the quality of food and staff. I hate that the application calls for you to select a star before posting your review because it doesn't even deserve 1 star.

My friends and I were there this past Friday. We dined outside and the atmosphere was perfect! If you love Buffalo Shrimp you have to try theirs! In addition we enjoyed how one of the managers came and serenaded my friend for her birthday. The price was reasonable for a steak and seafood restaurant. I will visit again!

Been eating here for years and I must say the food seems to have only gotten better. I love a good steak and have eaten at some of the best steak restaurants. The experience here is downtown steak restaurant experience without the hustle and the bustle. The ambience is comfortable and romantic. They have recently remodeled what is now the tavern side. While I opted for the main dining area, I couldn't help but notice the vibrancy of the tavern. The steaks are perfect. They are seasoned and cooked to perfection. Each bite is like heaven on a fork. The Caesar salad is consistently delicious but just a tad bit heavy on the dressing. The service is always professional and courteous. Great date night!

I gotta downgrade 94 West a star. There have been some changes here -- mostly for the better, really. They're now "94 West Grille and Tavern" or something like that. They serve breakfast/brunch on weekends and the dinner menu has been updated with some new appetizers, sides and sandwiches/wraps. The steak options remain as well. The decor has been updated in the bar and it looks pretty nice. But I've noticed a continual downslide in service. In the dozen or so times I've been here now, we've had maybe two really great servers, and the rest were middling to mediocre. Our most recent visit was for brunch on a Sunday, and despite the place being pretty quiet, the service was not great. For instance, Grampa ordered a plain burger, with just mustard and ketchup; he got a cheeseburger. I ordered a croque madame, and some kind of scramble with salmon was put down in front of me. I don't think the waitress knew what a croque madame was. And -- one of my pet peeves -- the waitress dropped the check off and then disappeared for a good 15-20 minutes. I don't think this is an individual bad day or bad waitperson problem. It's happened too much. I really think the servers need more and better training here. For what's allegedly a fine dining restaurant, they really could and should do a lot better.

Service was subpar, I do believe it was for my party due to an assumption that black Americans don't tip. The server received a tip from me that she was undeserving of The Fettuccine was over cooked and then drowned with sauce I'm an attempt to mask it. The bread was cold and hard and served with frozen pats of butter. I'll never go back and would warn anyone else no to either

DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!! Hands down the WORST brunch we've ever had. I don't even know where to begin. -Website says waffle and omlete station. NOPE, not there. Instead I was told by the waitress that it was not for Mother's Day Brunch. -Food was frozen and reheated. -Gravy for bisquits wasn't gravy, it was actually a cream-type pasta sauce. GROSS! -The "desserts" consisted of mini cupcakes that were freezer burnt. I thought it was just me but I overheard a lot of people complaining in line and at their tables.

The food was good. Not great but good. The service was bad. Our waitress came over and we asked about a drink we saw at another table. We asked if she liked it and she just said, "I don't drink." We did order drinks and after getting out salads, we finished our first round. We waited over 10 minutes for our waitress to even look at us (we were in the middle of her section, yet she went around our table without even looking at us, let alone ask if we needed anything. When we were able to get her attention, she asked if we needed another drink. We said yes, and she took off. Didn't ask anything about what drink we might want. We did want to change drinks. About another 10 minutes later (now drinkless for 20 minutes) she appeared with the same drink we had the first time. We would have told her our different drinks if she would have listened to us trying to get her attention. The second round was comped. I waited a very long time for water to be refilled, but the second I finished any course of food, a busboy squeezed himself between my wife and me to take the plate. When my salad fork was still in my mouth this kid took my plate. Like I said, the food was good. They make a really good steak and the bernaise (sp?) sause was excellent. In the end, I would say drive down LaGrange a few miles and go to Mr. Benny's. Excellent all the way around at Mr. Benny's. Ask for Erin there.

Recently ate there for a friend's wedding shower during their Sunday brunch. The buffet food great, hot and tasty. They make fresh omelets on demand and waffles. The only issue is they only have 1 waffle maker and the line was backed up. We waited for 20 minutes for our waffle. Other than that the wait staff was great and friendly and we had an overall great experience.

Went to 94West for Sunday brunch with my family (party of 5) after spending the day out. We arrived at the establishment at 2:25 the sign stated brunch ends on 3:30. The host informed me brunch ends at 3:00pm. Later a waiter arrives and said brunch ended in 20 minutes and there are no tables for our party size, however, there was plenty empty tables and chairs for party size.. Bottomline service was refused there was ample time and tables.....

This place is probably closer to a 3 1/2 to say 3 3/4 to be exact. We have been eating here since it opened. Went for lunch yesterday with a few friends. This is the first time I have been here since the menu has been reworked and lunch service was launched with it. At lucnh the dinner menu is also available. It appears to be a shortened version of it. In any case it is not a large lunch menu but decent offering several appetizers, salads, wraps burgers and sandwiches. I tried the 1/2 slab of ribs with bbq chicken. It came with a salad and choice of potato. BTW 5 bones is not a half slab which is what I got here. The chicken was a breast and wing. Overall this dish was pretty good. The dinner salad was a good size and with a variety of greens and a few veggies. The other folks in my party opted for grilled salmon with a side of spinach. The other had had the grilled whitefish with asparagus. Both of them said theirs was very good. The wine selection was decent as well. I will say that the drinks are a bit on the pricey side. Also some of the lunch items are a bit pricey as well. To me $16 for a burger is a bit much for what looked like nothing particularly special. The service here is good as usual. In the end you can certainly get a good and better than average meal here. I will certainly come back as I always have from time to time. I would have to say that for choices in the Orland area around the mall or close by this is the best of the steak places but crtainly not the best in the close by south suburbs around it.

Our server,Katie was quite abrupt from the get go and when we asked about a drink we saw at another table and asked her how it tastes, she said she doesn't drink!Seriously? You don't say that!I have been a server and you never downplay drink or food, you ad-lib with the customers!Katie took our dinner order, then we only saw her again when she brought out our salads, little did I know ground pepper would be all in my lap as well!I notice how DIRTY the rim of my wine glass is and knew I would not order another sangria! We noticed she now has 7 tables she is serving, obviously too many. Finally, she comes to our table and brings us the same exact drinks and we said we did not want those again!Food was excellent, quiet inside, too bad service was awful!

Visited 94West this past Saturday for my daughter's 21st birthday and I must say the food was lousy. My party consisted of myself, my husband, my 6 year old son and my daughter. My husband had surf and turf and although the lobster tail was exceptionally huge it had absolutely no flavor to it. I had the chicken and ribs and the ribs were horrible but the chicken was okay at best. My son had the fried shrimp and for him to be 6 years old his taste pallet is very broad and he did not like them at all. The birthday girl initlaly ordered the pork chop dish and had to send it back and then ordered the shrimp and like my son she thought they were very bland. It wouldn't hurt for the Chef's at 94West to use some seasoning on their dishes. On a positive note my husband did like the steak and my glass of Shiraz was quite tastey. I LOVE to try new restaurants and actually choose to go to this one and was VERY disappointed. I would not recommend going here UNLESS you're going for steak and a glass of Shiraz!!!!!!!

Server Robert "Rob" the hipster/mountain man projected an overall level of disdain for his life, smiling, steak, salad, bread, dessert, and ambiance of a prime steakhouse, that all in our party was astonished that the 94 West we were accustomed to was in fact, the same establishment. Rob, who possessed less personality than the grammatically incorrect and oft-misspelled "redone" menu, argued with me over whether I was requesting a "hot plate" or a sizzling platter (read: sizzling butter filled steak platter, which in fact, made 94 West a destination so many years ago, that they had to stop offering because someone placed face in sizzling platter, thus burning said face) For a $50 a plate meal, we would expect a smile, nod, or at least some semblance of human kindness. From this server, however, we received slow service, an arrogant and argumentative attitude, and a reason to avoid returning. Of course we brought our concerns to the manager with a request to mention this to Robert after dinner. She informed us that perhaps his anger and argumentative attitude was due to his departure over a year ago and recent return which was causing confusion with the new menu. No excuse, Robert. Go home and study the new menu, and learn to smile, you scallywag! Go elsewhere or request a veteran server, such as Katie, who would certainly serve prime steak with a prime attitude.

I don't know about this place. It's kinda like, shit or get off the pot! Nice building, elegant inside that looks rich. But then you hand me a salad that was made yesterday with homemade croutons that you made out of stale white bread. You should have just used the stale bread that you put in front of me. I ripped a piece off and there was more on the table than in my hands. The garlic dressing was very good. Nice bite to it. The green pasta was good as well. I ordered a T-bone and it was fantastic with the mushrooms on top. The fried onions from a can were a bit cheesy and unnecessary. the drinks were heavy on the pour. You have all the ingredients for a great restaurant. Stop being so frickin cheap and you won't have to hand out coupons to get people in the door!

What a great meal! Went for lunch had chicken pot pie, and meat and potatoes. We could not choose which was best! What a great meal! The service was very good attentive but not hovering. We will be back and soon!!!

I really like this restaurant. The staff has never failed me always attentive. My husband and our 3 girls went here for brunch that had been absent for months. The brunch comes with complimentary mimosa or juice. The buffet has a prime rib carving station and waffle station. Bacon and or turkey sausage, fish and several other choices. The flavor and preparation have never disappointed. I did not give 5 stars because on desert station all boxed prepared tarts that were not good. Peanut butter and jelly tart and chocolate peanut butter tart really not good. Needs a more personal touch. Other than that I really enjoy this restaurant.

New menu email brought us in. Well that's where the fun begins. Not sure where to start but was a total Joke! *Asked for no onion -the salad got onion- * Had to ask for salt and pepper with salad none on the table * Ordered $48 Tomahawk ribeye medium - steak arrived well done. Was reluctant to send it back but the waitress convinced me since I was visibly upset. *Manager returns with my steak 7 mins later to tell me after cutting it in half that it's fine so at this point I am starving and just accept it. Southwestern corn was grossly over cooked. No discount No apology from the manager. No free desert. No nothing. Save your time. Save your money. It's not worth the poor service. I will admit the remodel was nice but if you piss people off they will not repeat business. We will not be back. Left my phone number of the receipt lets see if they give a crap. My guess is NO. The Sangria was tasty and by far the best part. Drink up if dining here.

This is not your typical Orland Park chain restaurant, matter of fact is is a nice break for the chains that line LaGrange Road. I thing that since they are not on on Lagrange, they do not get lost in the shuffle but the restaurant was extraordinarily empty for being a Saturday night. Our server was not your typical stuffy nearly pompous high end restaurant server. Although he kept an air of formality, he was just downright pleasant. He might have been a bit new because wen we had questions, he seemed to struggle to find the words to answer our question. He answered everything to our satisfaction. The steak? My Ribeye, which is my new favorite cut. was cooked perfectly rare and was a very good cut. I ordered a side of macaroni and cheese which was just ok and nothing to write home about. The prices was what I expected. Next special occasion in my life this restaurant will be on the list of contenders.

Not bad for a suburban steakhouse. (Not too many in Orland park) ribeye steaks are good. I think the best part of my dinner was the service. Everything else is ok.

Went their for Sunday Brunch and it was pretty tasty. Indulged in the all you can eat crab legs and it was great. I would definitely go back and recommend to all. The mimosas kept coming without me having to ask for another one. Parking is accessible too!

Great food. Fun place to watch games. Awesome atmosphere. The steaks are down town quality with suburban prices. Newly remodeled bar area makes it a great place to relax while reading great food. The Sunday buffet is just too did for. Come with a giant appetite cause your going to need it

If you're a fan, go now, cause I doubt they'll survive 2015. My husband and I have been going to 94 West for years though we have been distracted by some nice newcomers to the area like Bonefish Grill. It has changed over time and not for the better. The interior of 94W has been redone and it does look nice. The menu is revised. It's shorter, with fewer options. Gone is the option of selecting a fish and selecting a presentation. Prices are as high or higher. We came for lunch and frankly the selection for lunch is not good at all. There are like 4 salad options. The only really enticing sounding one is the one hubby got - steak salad. It was actually reasonable priced for what he got and he enjoyed it. It was certainly huge with a full filet on top of a large salad bowl full of lettuce. I did not want a huge or heavy meal. I got a French onion soup which was ok though served in the smallest soup ramekin I've ever gotten at a nice restaurant. There just was very very little variety to choose from. I would have liked a small salad with my soup but nothing seemed appropriate so I got a side order of sweet potato fries. They were like shoestring fries so more oil than sweet potato. Our glasses were spotty. My first soup spoon had ridges like it had been eaten by a machine and looked like a dollar store spoon. My replacement was clean - in fact it was still wet. Our server was a pleasant older woman with a thick, possibly Germanic accent we could hardly understand. We were her only customers. We were the only ones in the dining room cause it was early. She's not observant, her timing is off and she's a bit slow. I sat with my soup and that potentially maiming spoon for about 5 mins before she showed up again. First, they need to cut the prices. They are in competition with not only a slew of fast food places but more importantly better dining at much less painful prices. Second, they need to increase the menu options that would appeal to those who don't want a steak. More salads. A soup/salad option. Another type of sandwich. They used to have quite a few pasta options - I saw I one today, a seafood one with a cream sauce and quite pricey. Wine list is ehhh. In short, I think the place is having an identity crisis. The old steak house put up a sign that is totally misleading. It does not serve "grill and tavern" fare nor are the prices in line with the more casual sounding name. We are sad.

I will try to make this long story short... A few years ago I had the worst dining experience of my life at this place. I actually had to beg myself (in my head) not to attack the waitress. I wanted to hurt this woman. I hated this place and told everyone I knew the story. Fast forward to Christmas Day 2012. My family had reservations at a restaurant "far away" from our homes for Christmas dinner. 4 hours before we were to meet my family needed to change (long story) and meet not only 2 hours earlier, but in the Orland Park area. Short version- We ended up here. They got our party of 6 in at the last minute on Christmas! I was prepared to drink away the experience. I walked in with an attitude just waiting for a repeat of the awful things that happened here before. I was wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. We had a wonderful server (wish I remembered his name). He seemed stretched a bit thin (they were packed) but we never waited on a thing. This guy busted his a@@ on Christmas to make our dinner special! Everyone loved the food. We had a bit of everything. The sausage and peppers appetizer was not exactly what I was expecting, but I loved it. The steaks were all great (Ribeye better than Filet, IMO) and my mom loved her fish. Every one of us even ordered dessert. Key lime pie being my favorite. The manager/possibly owner? came by to check on us and make sure everything was perfect. I really wish I had told him how much this experience had changed my mind. They really turned this place around and have gained 6 new customers!

Food did not impress me at all. Lemon chicken I ordered was so bland I hardly ate it. I was trying to treat my grandma to a nice night out while in the suburbs, but she hardly ate her food as well. The night was not successful and I will not be back. If you are in Orland, I would recommend Cooper's Hawk, Buca di Beppo or the Japanese Steak house before this restaurant.

I can't believe the reviews aren't higher! I came here last night and everything from the atmosphere to the food to the service was awesome. The restaurant looks so different (in a good way of course) now with the different colors and table settings and the food is even better than the last time I came and I didn't even know that was possible. Bone-in ribeye.. Hands down the most amazing entree on the menu! There's fresh seafood every day as we'll. Full bar, craft beer, great wine, phenomenal food and service.

Love the Salmon plank! So tasty! Service is great and people are welcoming ! I love the brand new interior of this place ! I had a tiramisu there that kept my taste buds asking for more ! Anything I eat there always tastes great and keeps me wanting to come back for more ! On Wednesday I got spagetti and meatballs and I couldn't believe that there wasn't an Italian chef in back! It was that good !Can't wait to sit outside in the summer !

Went there for dinner and I ordered the pork chop with caramelized apples and my boyfriend ordered a steak. We ordered truffle fries for an appetizer. Problems: 1. Fries were delivered without sauce. Had to track down waiter to get the sauce that it was suppose to come with. 2. We never got our salads that were suppose to come with the order 3. My meal came out and it was the wrong order. It was just a seasoned pork chop, no apples. He brings it back and then returns with the same pork, and said that they ran out of apples. He apologized. But I was surprised I didn't find this out sooner. I would have ordered something different. 4. The side of broccolini was just that...broccolini. No seasoning or anything, just steamed. I added some butter to add a little flavor. For a nice restaurant I was surprised at the bland side dish. Our waiter gave us another round of drinks for free and free desert because of the issues we experienced, but overall the quality of the food wasn't anything I would come back for anyways. Also side note don't order the chocolate covered strawberries. It was a very low quality chocolate with some rainbow sprinkles. Bottom line: overpriced for mediocre food

Been awhile since I have been here. Nice place, good service and usually good food. I had a taste for a Filet and like it medium rare. It was a little more done than I like but I went with it. Nice size cut just missing flavor more on the dry side. The side order of broccoli was a large bouquet and good. The salad was just a salad nothing interesting except for the croutons made from white bread, dry and icky. Our server Katy was very good. Just hit or miss on the food here.

Better since change to bar and grill. Same great waiter but ribs that were out of this world. I thought the best ribs were at Whiskey Creek in North Platte Ne., but these are as good, if not better. Great place.

Pleasantly surprised. My first visit to 94W was for my girlfriends birthday party in late Oct. A nice establishment. We were in a private room, the setup was nice. However, I didn't have an opportunity to tour the full restaurant. Will definitely return to see all else thats offered.

I brought my wife here for her birthday. This was our first time at 94 west. The food is delicious!!!! I had prime rib that was cooked to perfection. The crab cake appetizer is a must and the apple chesse cake. Our waitress Jenny was phenomenal. The ambiance is very nice. We will definitely be back.

Love that we have a great place like this here in Orland Park, from the great appetizers, the riibeye to the carrot cake home run.but the best is I've been here for my wifes birthday & again for our friends birthday Vincenzo sang happy birthday both times!
